King of the Beasts and other small animals
We’d like to pay tribute to those who live to protect and document the lions of Hwange – The Lion Researchers, who also do great work with de-snaring other animals, like in this instance, Elephants. Your work might be tiresome and heart-wrenching but we applaud your every effort. So on behalf of Ivory Lodge, Mother Africa and our volunteers who travel far and wide on their purpose driven safari, we thank you.
In April this year, this elephant was darted at Ivory Lodge and the snare successfully removed. If it wasn’t for Brent, this ele would not have survived but endured a long and painful death. Together with our partners, The Mother Africa Trust is hoping to make a difference and support such initiatives. Several items required for continually doing this work have been identified by Brent and we are hoping to get them to him urgently. Should you wish to help in anyway, please contact us through our correspondence form and a list of their requirements will be sent to you. Thank you for your help and concern.
