- Ethandweni Goat Initiative: Fencing complete and structures nearly finished, paving the way for Saanen goats known for high milk production.
- Mgadla Bridge Construction: With a $3,000 contribution in building materials from MAT, the council engineers and community labor are fast-tracking the project to improve access and connectivity.
- Mgadla Nutritional Garden: 750 onion bunches harvested and sold, generating $600 in sales. Support continues for transporting and marketing produce.
- Health Outreach (Silungudzi Village, Matopos): 181 patients received care with assistance from MAT through logistics and medication provision.
Wildlife Conservation Efforts:
- Hosted Panthera personnel, showcasing grant-funded projects and conservation efforts.
- Attended Tasking and Coordination Group meeting to explore funding for conservation technology.
- Four anti-poaching team members received first aid training and certification.
- Participated in the Wildlife Crime Meeting to strengthen strategies against illegal wildlife activity.
- Monitoring & Evaluation:
- Investigations into borehole water issues at Siyanyanga and Mabale.
- Dete Old Age garden and piggery thriving, with 10 pigs ready for sale.
